As known, it’s not common for artistes to release an album every year, but in 2015, somehow, Olamide a.k.a Baddo team up with Phyno to release 9 tracks album called "2 Kings" and personally released his 5th albums in 5 years [in a row] on 23 of November 2015. The album named was "Eyan Mayweather". This was 21 tracks long, with no features, it’s an interesting and good rap music album.

Eyan Mayweather may not be the best Hip Hop or pop album but it passes the test of time, considerably well. It’s a very enjoyable album with many high points and the low points can be dismissed because even at his worst, Olamide is pretty good. Some of the hit track of the album were: 'Don't Stop, Lagos Boys and Melo Melo out of others.

The full tracks list of Eyan Mayweather are: Eyan Mayweather, Inferiority Complex, Don’t Stop, Where The Man?, Igara, Chicken, Boom Boom Boom, Ball, Akara, Say Something, Be Happy, Kana Finish, I’m Ok, Matters Arising, Lagos Boys, Mama mi, Melo Melo, Sold Out, Bobo, Jega, and OG Wahedee.

The UN-assuming Olamide has performed at almost every major event in Lagos in recent times and continues to headline shows left right and center in Nigeria, Africa and Europe. Olamide’s dexterity is one of many things that endears him to his fans. One minute he is delivering his rap in fluent English and the next he switches effortlessly into Yoruba [a times typical one]. He raps in a unique blend of Yoruba and English with lyrics that will leave the listener both speechless and intrigued.

The Rapper comes complete with a mission statement “I am here to preach realness generally and make the youths believe in whatever they do and what little they have because with God everything is possible”. In an industry filled with Artistes spitting in American accents, whether real or imagined, it is a relief to have at least one artiste we can call 100% Naija. Olamide is the real face of Nigerian Hip Hop; Young, Talented, Dedicated, True to his Calling and he is set for bigger and better things. Though the ambitious Olamide will tell you he is still on his way there and if given a chance would fancy collaborations with International Superstars; Jay-Z, Ludacris, Drake, and Lil’ Wayne etc. because he had already has numerous collaboration works with many indigenous artistes.

YBNL Nation, his record label, is one of the biggest record label in Nigeria. The name YBNL is a slang in the hood meaning Yahoo Boy No Laptop which is basically about a young boy making good money with his talent and not illegal business. Artistes that are on his YBNL Nation label are Adekunle Gold [Adekunle Kosoko], Viktoh [Fadayomi Victor], Ybnl Princess [Temi Ovwasa] and newly signed Davolee [Shokoya Oluwasegunfunmi David]. Most of the artiste he signed are boys from Bariga and environs where he grew up and this shows how much love he has for the hood. Whereas artists like Lil kesh [Keshiro Ololade], Xino [Benjamin Chinedu Ahamefula] and Chinko Ekun [Oladipo olamide] has been on his record label before. According to him, YBNL is a movement where young artistes are given platform to success and then move on with their careers elsewhere.

In 2013, Telecommunications company [Etisalat] signed Olamide alongside Ice Prince as their brand ambassadors in an endorsement deal that worth hundreds of millions of naira. The deal ended 2016. Year 2013 was such a good year for Olamide as he bag another endorsement deal with Guinness the deal is worth several millions of naira. Nowadays when an event or phenomenon goes viral, sometimes, it doesn’t take too long for something else to come on and offset the order of things but a tangible number of Olamide’s art have not only affected culture, but also lingered: Such as when he released Lagos Boys (Sneh), so many people started to add the suffix, ‘sneh’ to their names. His dance routine in Shakiti-Bobo caught on like wildfire and in no time, people begun to use it to groove to songs that had nothing to do with him and those are just 2 of the many ways of gauging his obvious influence. He understands the workings of good and lasting music and this 5th album, is additional proof.
